Zephyr MIMC Star ES

Hi Peter,

I agonized for weeks before finally deciding to replace my Zephyr with the low-output Zephyr MIMC Star ES version; I just wasn't sure how much difference I'd notice (since I was wholly satisfied with the old cartridge). I needn't have worried (as you surely know). I could list several ways in which the improvement is even greater
than I had thought it might be. But perhaps the most significant, in my mind, is the nuance I now hear quite regularly that I had not heard before and I've been playing mostly LPs I've had for 40 or 50 years, so I'm pretty familiar with them! The subtle shadings, variations in rhythm, etc. that constitute the real art & soul of music are just much more apparent. Maybe for the first time, and certainly at least much more so than before, I now understand, and appreciate, what it means to describe a piece of equipment as being musical. So thanks for offering such a great product and thanks again for your technical support.

They Said What?

I listened to this cartridge for about two months, for full break-in, even though it had about 30 hours on it as stated in a note with the delivery package. Several hundred hours later, I realized I was enjoying it more and more, and only then decided to run it through the test process.
